Our Edmond Campus is only one year old and is already seeing 400 to 500 people worshiping on Sundays in a temporary location at Edmond Santa Fe High School, and we know that this is just the beginning. Every time we have moved from a mobile location to a permanent home, we have experienced explosive growth. We can’t wait for the Edmond Campus to move into a permanent home so that many more lives can experience the life-changing power of Jesus!
The Edmond Campus will be a brand-new facility on our 23 acres of land right off of 164th St. This will be a prime location, highly visible and accessible for people to easily find their way to park, walk in, and feel at ease in a spacious lobby designed for people to gather and build relationships. The parking lot will include 450 paved parking spaces leading to the 45,000 square foot facility that includes a brand-new cafe, state-of-the-art auditorium with approximately 1,000 seats, high-quality AVL equipment for an optimal worship experience, and a highly secure PC Kids environment with intentionally designed, age-specific classrooms. We will also have our Wednesday night youth service in this incredible new building! This brand-new facility will expand the reach of the Edmond Campus exponentially!
MORE began in September 2024 with the need to raise $20M to fund the project. Our goal is to begin worshiping in the new facility 24 months after breaking ground. Although our goal would be to build this facility debt-free, we do have a lender secured.
The Edmond Campus will pave the way for many more changed lives as we know God has so much MORE in store for People’s Church! Every time we’ve added seats, God has added souls! It’s never been about us. It has always been about the people who are not here yet.
Your Opportunity
People’s Church is what it is today because someone before you gave sacrificially. Someone saw with eyes of faith the lives that would be changed at your campus before you even walked through the door. Every Sunday, you get to enjoy the benefits and blessings of a church home because of someone’s sacrificial giving. Now everyone one at our Oklahoma Metro campuses have the opportunity to pave the way for someone else to experience life change. We are asking all of our Oklahoma campuses to give toward the Edmond building to collectively raise $20M over the next three years.
At People’s Church, we always say the same thing at the end of every service – “We’re Family!” Our family isn’t made of one or two people but thousands of people who call People’s Church home. As a church family, it will take each of us prayerfully asking what God wants us to give over and above our normal tithes and offerings in order to accomplish this goal.
As you ask God to speak to you, you can be sure your next step will require faith. But you will never regret trusting God and obeying His voice. Think about this: people that you haven’t yet met are going to give their lives to Christ and spend eternity in heaven because of your faith in this season. We are all in a new season and on a new journey of stepping out in faith together, just like those of us who started out together in the AMC Theatre days. As we step out together, we are going to see God do MORE at People’s Church!
